More than just a course.

This month marks two years since the first 10 STILL coaches completed their training.
So much had changed for us and the world in that time. Including a shift to training via Zoom, which has enabled people to join us from all over the world.
Our team continues to grow around the world, and just this month we trained 20 coaches to support adults.

Some of our first STILL Method coaches learning new skills

During October we saw almost 200 children working with coaches. Next weekend we begin our first coach training program for 4 months, and I’m pretty certain those coaches will be pleasantly surprised by what they learn. Why? Because the STILL Method isn’t just another course about anxiety.

Accessible and adaptable. Unlike other programs the STILL Method was built to meet the needs of Neuro-diverse children. As a parent of an autistic child I was tired of seeing programs that misunderstood or excluded some children. So as soon as we started building STILL we built a program that met the needs of diverse groups of young people.
Our next step was to research tools and approaches with maximum impact. Each and every tool had to earn it place. .
This has meant our programs are robust enough to support children and grownups in a rapidly changing world.

The next surprise for our new coaches is our small groups. We only ever train a small number of coaches in each cohort. This gives each individual the support to ensure they can get the most out of the training and apply it in their new working life.
Finally, our coaches will see they are not alone. With twice monthly team meetings ongoing mentoring and marketing support our coaches will see how much we want them to grow and support their communities.
